Pets play such an important part in our lives. The loyalty of their love is without condition. They share with us our happiness, sadness, and the in between. How Does A Photo Session Work?

PHASE 1 - Pre Session - Getting Started

Contact me to schedule a session - together we’ll go over the items below and pick a suitable time and location.

I will have a few questions about your furry family and their personality so I come prepped and ready on the day of your shoot
Package Selection
We will review package options (See Below) to find the right match for you.
Schedule Session
At this time I will ask for a non-refundable deposit of $50 to secure your date & time which will be applied towards your final package.

PHASE 2 - The Session or The FUN Part!

On the day of the shoot I’ll arrive at the determined time to prepare for the shoot and introduce myself to your loyal friend. Each pet is different and each photo shoot will have a different outcome - one thing is certain though, your pet’s personality will shine bright.

Photo Shoot
A typical session will last about 90 minutes - this includes getting to know you and your pet, lots of photos snapped, and most likely me oohing and awwing over your fur baby.
1. For Consideration
  - It usually takes some time for pets to relax enough to get photos, typically this is new to them, and they are often curious, shy, excited, happy, nervous or all of the above. I am very patient, and move at the animals pace.
  - Animals are typically more relaxed in an environment they are used to.
  - I prefer to shoot in natural light, and ideally capturing your pet just being him or herself - I’m open to any suggestions though!
  - For best results have your pet washed, groomed, brushed, or whatever they need to look their finest.
Final Payment
The balance of the package amount is due on the day of the shoot, this is for my time on location, post shoot processing / editing, and pre-payment for your printed materials / digital files.

PHASE 3 - Post Session - Preparing your Cherished Photos

After your session your photos will be uploaded and prepared for your online viewing gallery - this will include at minimum 15 of the best photos.

Photo Upload & Review
You will receive a link to view your photos online within 1 week of the shoot date. Photos in this gallery will have been partially processed - this means they will look good, but even better once you select your photos and I finalize the editing process.
Final Selection Consultation
After you have looked through the gallery, and selected your favorites, contact me to discuss, finalize your selections, and complete the package order.
Receiving Your Photos
Final editing will be completed, finalized full resolution files will be available appx. 1 week after final editing is complete. Most print and product orders will be available within 2-3 weeks.
